40th Anniversary Mini-Reunions
So you’ve become a famous artist now, or you’re teaching dance to children, or you took that music degree and became a businessman, or that theatre
training led you to a successful career as a politician, or you never finished your degree but look back fondly at those seven semesters in Centennial East. You’re all part of our family, and we love to have you return.
Have you seen the new Center for the Performing Arts? Have you seen what they’ve done to downtown Normal? Have you seen the outstanding work of our students today? With over 400 events planned for the 40th, this is the perfect time to visit and re-connect with your old home and good friends.
Plan a get-together
Maybe you’re a theatre education alum or a choral alum or a graphic design alum who’d like to get together with alums in your field or your era. Let us know if you’re willing to help contact other alums and we’ll work with you. Pick a date or an event and plan your gathering around it — anything from a few folks getting together for coffee, to a large number arranging a dinner out and a performance.
College faculty will join you, give you a tour, share photos and stories from your time, and arrange to meet with students. Is there a faculty member you'd like to meet with?
