Faculty Awards

The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts recognizes faculty and staff excellence through a variety of annual awards in the areas of teaching, service, research and creative activity. Recipients of college awards are often eligible for the corresponding University level award in subsequent years. Faculty are nominated for awards by School Directors and School Faculty Status Committees during the previous spring semester. Eligibility and application guidelines can be found in the links below.

Electronic Teaching Portfolios are due from all nominees to their School Director on September 5, 2023.

School Directors forward nomination materials to the college on or before September 15, 2023.

Nominees for the University Outstanding Teacher Award must be a recipient of the College Outstanding Teacher Award. Names of all university-level teaching award nominees will be forwarded to the University Teaching Committee in mid-October. All college award nominees should follow the university award guidelines when preparing portfolios.

Nominees for the University Outstanding Researcher and Creative Activity Awards must be a previous recipient of the college level award in the appropriate category.
