The College Academic Advisement Committeeserves in an advisory capacity to the Dean while working to provide a forum for each advisor to share their efforts related to advisement issues across the College and to identify ways they may improve upon the advising needs of performing and visual art students.
The College Council is the primary committee for shared governance in the College of Fine Arts. The Council provides advice and counsel to the Dean of the College of Fine Arts on all major policy issues. Membership comes from faculty, staff, and students.
The College Curriculum Committee reviews and approves all curriculum proposals developed in the College. Approved proposals are forwarded to the appropriate University Commitee for final approval.
The College Recruitment Scholarship Committee coordinates college recruitment/admissions activities and allocates scholarship funds among the College's four primary academic programs. The Committee also selects recipients of College-level scholarships.
The College Research Committee reviews University Research Grant proposals submitted by CFA faculty and makes recommendations for funding to the Dean of the College. The Committee also advises the Dean on research and creative scholarship related programs and policies.
