Updating your Website Bio
Go to the Faculty/Staff Biography Database and login using your Illinois State University ULID and password (your ULID is the first part of your email address). For ease in editing, it's recommended that you use Firefox, although other browsers will work.
Windows Users: For User Name add "adilstu\" before your ULID: adilstu\myname
Mac Users: For User Name, simply enter your ULID
Once you've logged on, you will see your information. Click on "Edit my Profile" on the upper left side. When you're done editing, click on "Save Changes" at the very bottom. Your changes will not actually show up on the site until published by the Web Coordinator.
Note: even though the "Specialization" box is large, keep it simple. That shows up on the faculty list and should be a one-or-two-word description that would be useful to prospective students, such as "Trombone" or "Acting" or "Art Education." Use commas to separate multiple areas: "Piano, Theory." If you want to talk at length about specializations, do it in your bio.
You can upload a new picture by clicking on "browse," finding the picture on your hard drive, and then clicking on upload. If you have difficulty uploading your picture, send it to Pete Guither.
Avoid changing the "Associations." Generally, those are handled administratively. If you think your association is incorrect, let us know.
Pictures will not show up automatically after you upload. If you upload a new picture, please email Pete Guither and let him know so he can make the change go live in the system.
