Voice
Where else can you take voice lessons in a castle?!
Illinois State University voice students are surrounded by positive and creative faculty members encouraging proper vocal development and performance. Master classes and voice area recitals are included in the voice studio curriculum. The voice student experiences one-on-one instruction in the studio. Our voice faculty is comprised of music professionals who have performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America, Africa and the Middle East.

Students have the opportunity to attend on-campus concerts, as well as clinics and master classes presented by guest artists. The Bloomington-Normal community also offers performing venues such as the Community Players Theatre, Prairie Fire Theatre, and Cantus Novus.
Our goal is to prepare students for professional performing and/or graduate study beyond the University. Musical and Opera productions provide practical experience for students to perform with an orchestra.
