RED NOTE New Music Festival
Welcome to the homepage for the 2012 RED NOTE New Music Festival. This year we have two ensembles as our Featured Guest Artists: the Chicago-based ensemble Fulcrum Point New Music Project, and Ohio-based Color Field Ensemble. On Monday March 19th, Color Field Ensemble will be presenting music of Rzewski, Rakowski, Leroux, ensemble member Jeff Weston, and the world premiere of a work by Robert Honstein at 8 pm in Kemp Recital Hall. And, Fulcrum Point will be performing music of Woolf, Lieberson, Turrin, Ueno, and Moravec on Tuesday March 20th, also at 8 pm in Kemp Recital Hall. The performances on Wednesday and Thursday night will feature the students and faculty of Illinois State University. Please see the Events page for more information.
