What Your Donation Does for our Students
Friends of the Arts provided more than $50,000 to fine arts students last year through talent-based scholarships and project grants. Scholarships help offset the cost of attendance, while project grants support student creative projects, scholarship, and research. Your donation allows students to study the arts who might be unable to do so otherwise. Donations enable the College of Fine Arts to attract and retain academically high-achieving and creative students like Sam Rosenfeld.

"Friends of the Arts means so much more to me than a scholarship. To me it means opportunity: the opportunity to participate and be a part of theatre. Without this scholarship and others like it from the School of Theatre and Dance, I would not be able to spend my time outside of class practicing what I love. Because of this scholarship, I will be able to take from all of these experiences and share what I have learned with my future students as a theatre educator. I thank the Friends of the Arts not only for the countless experiences that they give students the opportunity to partake in every day, but also the ability to spread those experiences, in their futures, to others and share the power of truth and beauty of the fine arts."
- Sam Rosenfeld, undergraduate, School of Theatre and Dance
