Friends of the Arts is bringing back Glenn Wilson and the Jazz Maniacs for this highly anticipated annual social event at the beautiful new University Galleries at Uptown Station in Normal.
Glenn has worked and recorded with The Buddy Rich Band, Lionel Hampton Orchestra, Toshiko Akiyoshi Jazz Orchestra, Tito Puente, Machito, Bill Kirchner, Bob Belden Ensemble, and scores of other jazz and Latin-jazz groups. Check out Glenn at jazzmaniac.com.
You will also have a chance to view the 2015 MFA Biennial highlighting the best work of current School of Art graduate students. Once again, you can expect a friendly and casual Friends of the Arts get-together with food provided by Friends of the Arts Board Members.

Friends of the Arts Academic Support Grants
The Friends of the Arts offer grants to support College of Fine Arts artistic projects, events, visiting artists, and student travel. Grants are available of up to $500 for an individual and up to $1,000 for a group. Learn more and find out how you can apply.

Become a Friend by donating $50 or more per year and the benefits are great! Contributions primarily support scholarships for students in the School of Music, School of Theatre and Dance, School of Art, and the Arts Technology Program.
