have earned a four-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a college or university that is accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting association, or do so within one academic year

Additional Program Admission Requirements
A student applying for this program must:
have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for either the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework or any previous work in a master's program
submit a letter of application stating your interest and what you plan to emphasize in your work
submit a writing sample: it may be poems, a short story, script or an essay. If you wish, you may write on what you think the role of an arts technologist in the 21st century will be (this is only a suggestion for those who don't have writing samples at the ready).

submit a portfolio consisting of 6-10 pieces of work to: Program in Arts Technology Graduate Admission Campus Box 5600 Illinois State University Normal, IL 61790-5600. Work may be submitted on a disk or within a website and may include any combination of the following: 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, video, and animated art and design; sound files of music performances and sound design projects; video, stills and sketches of set and costume design; multi-media and web site design. The work must be viewable on Mac or PC.
