Please click on the link to the right to fill out the appropriate registration and submit your payment for the event. The $30 fee is required to participate in the event.
After you register, you will be sent a link with all of the music needed for the performance.
Of course! Routines for these groups will be taught on Saturday morning with our coaches and college students. Don’t worry, the routines are easy enough to learn in a short amount of time.
Yes! Each student is responsible for providing an instrument or color guard equipment. Please register to perform on your major instrument. There will be a significant amount of sight-reading and to learn very quickly!
Our plans will adjust based on the weather, however, our preferred dress for the event is your high school uniform. This will allow you to represent your school at the performance. If you are unable to wear your uniform, please wear apparel representing your high school or Illinois State University apparel. Ultimately, we want everyone to be warm and comfortable, so making sure to dress appropriate for the weather is important.
Parents are welcome to attend the practice in Hancock Stadium and sit on the EAST side of the stands (the new grand stand). It is important to be on time for the morning rehearsal. We have a lot to learn and very little time to do it. Just like college marching band! If you would like to attend the game, you will need to purchase tickets. Discounted tickets will be available for you to purchase.
After we eat lunch, we will report to Cook Hall to prepare for our parade to the stadium. Cook Hall is located on University Street.
For halftime, the band will face the EAST side for our performance. To get the best view of the performance you should walk over to the EAST side before the end of the 2nd quarter.
Following the game, the band will parade back to Cook Hall. Concluding each performance with the singing of the Alma Mater is one of our most important game day traditions.
Students can be picked up following the Alma Mater at Cook Hall. Keep in mind that parking and traffic will be a challenge following the game!
