Friends of the Arts (FOA) is a community-based organization partnering with Illinois State University Foundation and the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts. FOA is governed by a volunteer board composed of community members who share an appreciation for the arts and education.

Last year, FOA provided over $47,000 to fine arts students including $12,000 in project grants and $35,000 in scholarships. Nearly 62 households made donations to Friends of the Arts, for a total of approximately $22,079. The average donation was $356 per household.
Student Grants and Scholarships
The Student Grant Program provides support for student creative projects, research, events, and visiting artists. Grants are available up to $500 for an individual and up to $1,000 for a group. Learn more and apply.
