A student applying to a master's program must:
International students can learn more about specific application requirements by visiting the Office of Admissions.
The GRE is not required for the Master of Music Education program.
To be considered for this program, you must meet the following requirements.
You must have a degree in music (or the equivalent for international students).
You must submit a School of Music application (included within the University application).
You must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.8 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate enrollment.
This program requires three current letters of recommendation.
If you plan to study privately on your instrument or voice, include a live or recorded performance audition on your primary applied instrument.
Find suggested repertoire under the music studios area of your specific instrument/voice.
Submit a video/DVD of yourself in a rehearsal situation or teaching in the classroom.
Include a copy your teaching certificate. If you do not have one, provide written evidence of your teaching ability and projected certificate completion date.
The following documents need to be sent to the Office of Admissions.
