Welcome to the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts, home of the Wonsook Kim School of Art, School of Music, School of Theatre and Dance, Arts Technology Program, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and University Galleries. Our programs support talented and passionate students pursuing their dreams in all areas of study: music, theatre, and dance performance, composition, music therapy and music education, visual art and design, art history, and interactive media.
University Galleries is central to Illinois State University and Illinois communities, presenting guest artists and scholars from all disciplines, world-class exhibitions, and exciting events in its new contemporary spaces in downtown Normal.
The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is a nationally-known learning lab for students that works with professional actors and faculty throughout the summer months to present 36 performances at our state-of-the-art Elizabethan-style theater at Ewing Cultural Center.
The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts offers students opportunities to study and perform in Italy, Australia, England, and other culturally-rich destinations led by faculty experts. The Big Red Marching Machine, 300+ student strong, along with Drumline and Pep Band, keep spirits high at athletic events and celebrations at home and away.
I hope you will join the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts students in creating your story at Illinois State University.
