Art History Internships

Students may earn credit hours in art history and gain valuable work experience through internships offered at various institutions in the area. Art History Sequence students have done summer or one-semester internships locally at the McLean County Art Center, the McLean County Historical Society, and Lakeview Museum in nearby Peoria.

Art History students have also been involved in internships during summers at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian Institution, among many other venues. Students apply through the art history area.
