Biography

Le’Mil L. Eiland, PhD. (Theatre and Performance Studies, University of Pittsburgh) is an Assistant Professor of Theatre History at Illinois State University. As an interdisciplinary scholar, he studies and researches at the intersections of black cultural production, theatre history, and performance theory. Specifically, he examines the reproduction of historical processes in black culture across geography and time. Eiland also works as a director and acting coach.
