Biography

Megan Hildebrandt, MM, MT-BC, is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Music Therapy and a Clinical Practicum Supervisor. She received her Master of Music from Illinois State University, while working as a graduate teaching assistant. Megan holds bachelor's degrees in music therapy and music education from Wartburg College, in Waverly, Iowa. A board certified music therapist since 2007, Megan has professional clinical experience in hospice, dementia care, older adults, and with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also has achieved the designation of NICU-MT and has completed specialized training in the use of music therapy in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit from the National Institute for Infant & Child Medical Music Therapy. Megan has previously worked as adjunct faculty in music therapy, at Wartburg College.
