Purchasing Tickets

  • Purchase Options

    Tickets can be purchased

    • in person at the CPA Box Office
    • by calling (309) 438-2535 during the business hours listed above
    • online 24/7

The CPA Box Office opens one hour before all performances (two hours before Illinois Symphony Orchestra performances) to process sales and have tickets available at will call.

For events in Westhoff Theatre or at Ewing Cultural Center for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, a separate box office is set up at those specific performance locations.

  • Box Office Parking

Please be aware that, due to construction, the South University Street parking lot and garage is the closest availability parking, 450 South University Street. Visitor parking during business hours is available on a pre-pay basis in the pay lot. Visit the parking website for more information. During non-performance times, there is no public parking in the School Street Parking Garage.

  • Pick Up, Will Call, and Mobile Tickets

There are three ways to obtain your tickets for the performance.

    • Purchase tickets in person, and your tickets will be printed for you to take home.
    • Will Call: When purchasing over the phone or by choosing the will call option online, tickets will be printed the day of the event and will be available for pick up at the box office beginning an hour before the performance (two hours before ISO performances).
    • Mobile Tickets: All purchase options (in person, phone, online) have a mobile ticketing option at no additional cost. A confirmation email will be sent for the sales transaction, followed by a second email with a link to your tickets. Instructions to download a PDF of the ticket to your phone, or directly add them to your Google or Apple wallet (highly recommended) will be included. Be sure to add the tickets to your mobile wallet before arriving at the venue so ushers can scan your tickets with as little wait for you as possible.

Accessibility

The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts is dedicated to providing high quality performances that are accessible to all of our patrons. For more information on any of the items listed below, please call the CPA Box Office at (309) 438-2535.

Listening Devices: Listening Devices are available in all of our performance venues. If one is needed, please ask an Usher or House Manager and they will be happy to provide one for you. Our current system can include T-coil usage, but does not support bluetooth capabilities.

Wheelchair Accessible Seating: For those requiring accessible seat locations, please call the box office during our regular business hours at (309) 438-2535. All venues are fully ADA compliant, and our staff will gladly find the seats best suited for your needs.

Armless Chairs: The Center for the Performing Arts has a limited number of armless chairs for our patrons to be purchased instead of a fixed seat location.

ASL Performances: Sign Language Interpreters are available for events at Illinois State University. If you require the services of a sign language interpreter, please contact the Box Office at (309) 438-2535 to arrange interpreted performances at least 6 weeks in advance of the event.

Service dogs: Service dogs that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability and/or medical/mental health condition may accompany patrons at our venues. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA or this policy. Please refer to the Illinois State University's website for more detailed guidelines about service animals on campus.
